    Responsible for all areas of a complex operation focused on safety, administration, maintenance, train performance and productivity. Will develop and drive terminal strategies and solutions through people, systems and process to continuously ensure excellence in safety, profitability and service. Successful candidates will be critical thinkers with strong analytical and communication skills, embrace a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment while using superior management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.

    1. Responsible for assisting in the entire terminal operations including: safety, administration, maintenance, and productivity
    2. Responsible for the training and orientation of all employees and ensures that every employee has the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to perform each task assigned
    3. Responsible for problem solving with local railroad officers
    4. Responsible for the staffing of all terminal employees
    5. Enforces and upholds all ITS rules, regulations and policies, issues all disciplinary action
    6. Reviews and approves terminal purchases for payment, manages purchases within budget
    7. Reviews weekly time and attendance and ensures data is accurate and entered timely
    8. Responsible for all administrative tasks related to terminal management


    Strong communication skills

    Previous supervisory or lead position

    Proficient computer skills

    Mechanical abilities strongly preferred.
