    The Operations Dispatcher will be responsible for executing the dispatch process that supports Depot/Terminal Operations. The position will work with the Customer, Depot Managers and other operational center personnel to develop daily dispatch plans and make proactive recommendations on adjustments to facilitate the operation.

    Responsibilities

    Operations Dispatcher

    • Works one on one with location drivers
    • Develops daily dispatch plans
    • Manages truck capacity needs
    • Assists with generation of daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports
    • Assists with managing driver paperwork

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    • Dispatch experience with Company Drivers and Owner Operators
    • Experience appraising productivity; handling employee grievances or complaints, or disciplining employees
    • Ability to exercise of independent judgment and discretion Interviewing, selecting, and training employees
    • Strong organization skills
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze numerical and written information
    • Must be familiar with dispatch systems and technology
    • Familiar with MS Office programs and efficient Excel user
    • This position will require Associate to work outside of normal business hours when required to meet the needs of the business. The position will be a 3-on, 3-off 12 hours rotating shifts.
    • Knowledge of State regulations and DOT
