    Responsibilities

    Port Terminal Supervisor

     

    The Port Terminal Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the terminal including equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and personnel. Compensation includes competitive salary package and excellent benefits. Other duties include: Customer Service and maintaining a positive working relationship with representatives of the companies we service. This role will require you to understand, implement/train and audit repair and inspection criteria, update, maintain & report proper equipment and tire inventories, and execute system entry and manual excel reports.

     

    Leadership responsibilities will include: Managing the work force, shift scheduling, safety and training, Allocation of work assignments with Foreman, Repair Auditing, Production and evaluation of workforce.  

     

    Reporting capabilities must include Daily/Weekly Repair complete and upcoming repair schedules to Terminal Manager, attendance at Terminal meetings as necessary and Performance updates to Senior CGI Management.

          

     

    Qualifications

    5 or more years in a Managerial or Supervisory position in the Intermodal Industry, Truck & Trailer  Repair, Intermodal Shipping.in an M&R role, Railroad, Transportation, Port., Military in an M&R or Transportation Department.

     

    E mail (PC, Laptop & Cellular phone familiar), Program knowledge - Excel .xls & Word .doc, Basic Math & Good Composition.

     

    Certifications:

    IICL Trained (Certified), AAR Regulations, FMCSA (CSA certified class), Wheel end repairs (certified class), ABS brake systems (certified class), Tire Installation.
