As a Field Technician you will serve our internal and external customers by installing, commissioning, and supporting our Advanced Solutions Technology Systems.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to accomplish successful implementation of ConGlobal Advanced Technology Solutions.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools and power tools as required.
  • Installation of conduit per project plans and/or as directed by Senior Field Technician.
  • Installation of control cabinets, control boxes, mounting brackets and other hardware per project plan and/or as directed by Senior Field Technician
  • Installation of various devices including cameras, gate arms, traffic lights, sensors, servers and related equipment
  • Pull, route, or label CAT5, CAT6 cable and other wiring, cabling.
  • Repair related poles and towers to resolve cable issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.
  • Book Travel and record time via computer systems.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Use of hand tools and power tools
  • Expertise in terminating CAT5, CAT6 cables, COAX cable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and willingness to learn various business computer systems as required.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and grow while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Authorized to work in the USA without Visa sponsorship.
  • Experience pulling, routing, labeling CAT5 or CAT6 cable.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience field installing, deploying, repairing equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cabling
  • Background in IT networking
  • Experience and/or understanding of Technology Systems and Componentry.
  • Experience and/or understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Working Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledgeable of NEC guidelines
  • Experience and certification for operating equipment IE: scissor lifts, forklifts, boom lifts

Travel: Willingness and Ability to travel 75+ % of time
