Responsibilities

The Refrigerated Shipping Container Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and pre-tripping Thermo King, and Carrier refrigerated shipping containers.  The Refrigerated Shipping Container Technician will troubleshoot & complete repairs on Thermo King and Carrier Gensets.

Qualifications

 

  • Prior experience with refrigerated shipping containers is required
  • EPA Ceritifcation 
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience with reading and understanding computer generated work orders
  • Strong communicator; communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner 
  • Conforms with and abides by all work regulations, policies, procedures, safety rules and instructions
  • Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable with working alone and/or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to train other employees as necessary
  • EPA Certification
  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
    • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
