We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration systems, with expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and pre-tripping Thermo King and Carrier units. As a key member of our technical team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our refrigeration systems, contributing to smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair various types of refrigeration systems, including commercial and industrial units.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and extend the life of equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with refrigeration systems, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions to enhance system reliability.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while working on refrigeration systems to ensure safe operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with refrigeration systems, including Thermo King and Carrier units.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills, particularly in both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with commercial and industrial refrigeration units and systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations in refrigeration.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with reading and understanding computer generated work orders
• Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with working alone and/or with minimal supervision
• EPA Certification
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
  • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in refrigeration technology or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a technical service environment.
