As a Railyard Assistant Ramp Manager at ConGlobal, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our railyard involving our switch crew. Working closely with the Ramp Manager, you'll ensure operational excellence in safety, train performance, productivity, maintenance, and team development. will be responsible for overseeing train operations, managing a crew, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and optimizing the efficiency of day-to-day operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate complex logistics, respond to on-the-ground challenges, and always maintain a high level of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of safety protocols, regulations, and emergency response procedures within the railroad industry.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under time constraints.
Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening.
Preferred:
