As a Technical Project Manager for our Field Installation Team, you will have an integral role Installing and Implementing our Advanced Technology Solutions.  You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing projects to satisfy company, customer, and other stakeholder requirements. Working closely with our internal teams and partners, you will be integrally involved in creating new cutting-edge solutions, with the opportunity to influence key strategic directions. This role will be based out of Dallas/Fort Worth, TX or Denver, CO in a hybrid (remote and on-site) work schedule. Candidates can expect to travel up to 50% of the time.

 

Responsibilities

Own Installation and Implementation Project Planning from start to finish for advanced technology solutions, assisting in creating the processes and methodologies along the journey. 

  • Prepare and manage project plans for install deployment and commissioning.
  • Work closely with install team(s) and site management for projects being managed.
  • Contribute to technical architecture decisions.
  • Contribute to mechanical and electrical design decisions.
  • Analyze key project tradeoff decisions and provide recommended courses of action.
  • Assist in managing third party vendors where applicable.
  • Assist in defining Production Validation test criteria and execution for various systems.
  • Define, manage, and oversee integration and validation activities.
  • Assist in development of installation and deployment documentation.
  • Guide field activities and implement engineering changes.
  • Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to maximize value provided to our customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, program management, mechanical engineering, electrical/computer engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years managing technical projects that involve software and hardware integration.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Meticulous with detail; excels in driving results
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • Experience building and deploying complex electro/mechanical systems and/or mobile vehicle applications.
  • Experience with hardware / software integration projects, programs.
  • Experience with CAD and projects involving mechanical design components.
  • Experience developing and maintaining standardized work instructions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining BOM (bill of materials).
  • Experience with Construction Project Management.
