💲 Starting Pay: $19.00-25.50
🕐 Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

🕔 Schedule: start time 7am open availability 

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate vehicle inventory records and ensuring quality control standards across the auto lot and railcar operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, walking the lot, and using scanning technology to inspect and track vehicles.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine lot walks to verify vehicle bay locations.

  • Accurately verify VIN numbers and scan vehicles into the inventory system.

  • Monitor and track vehicle inventory across the lot.

  • Inspect damaged vehicles in designated bays and report findings.

  • Enter damage reports into internal software systems.

  • Perform inspections on vehicles arriving by rail.

  • Measure and document railcar junctions.

  • Maintain and update the railcar junction database.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable using computers and mobile scanning tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • A willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Open availability required, with the ability to work early morning at 7am shift.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
    • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in automotive inventory, quality inspection, or logistics.

  • Familiarity with VIN scanning tools or inventory software.
