🕐 Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

🕔 Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30AM-4:30PM

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Container – Chassis Estimator to assess and estimate repairs for maritime, domestic, and intermodal equipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational safety and compliance standards, ensuring all estimates meet FMCSA and IICL guidelines. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in chassis repair estimation in a depot environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct gate and estimate inspections in a depot setting

  • Identify, locate, and evaluate damages exceeding industry standards

  • Ensure all repair estimates align with FMCSA and IICL repair criteria

  • Use handheld devices for detailed container inspections (inbound and outbound)

  • Handle chassis and related equipment safely during lift operations

  • Adhere to all ConGlobal safety protocols and procedures

  • Safely and efficiently direct traffic and communicate with drivers and yard staff

  • Utilize or learn to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience estimating repairs for chassis and intermodal equipment

  • Working knowledge of chassis mechanics and standard repair practices

  • Familiarity with CEDEX codes

  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate PIVs

  • Strong communication skills for coordination with drivers and field teams

  • Comfortable using handheld inspection platforms or mobile devices

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods

  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
        • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen. 
  • Available to work 7:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday
